EdgeCut Arts invites artists working in or across performance, dance, sound, new media, and emerging technologies to submit proposals for short-form experimental works (10–45 minutes) for our Fall/Winter 2026 performance series at our 2,600 sq ft loft in Hell's Kitchen, NYC, close to Times Square.
We invite proposals from artists whose work explores the intersection of live performance and digital culture. EdgeCut Arts is a platform for experimentation — supporting those investigating how emerging technologies are reshaping presence, liveness, and embodiment. We're especially interested in work that pushes boundaries, engages with the edges, and resists categorization. If your practice examines how digital culture is transforming live experience, we want to hear from you.
Works will be curated by EdgeCut Arts staff and community and presented from late October through mid-December 2026. If selected, performances will take place across three evenings within one of the following date ranges: Oct 29 – 31, Nov 5 – 7, Nov 12 – 14, Nov 19 – 21, Dec 10 – 12
What You'll Receive:
2–3 day run of your performance
Per-show honorarium
Basic tech support on the day of your show
Professional documentation of your work
What We're Looking For:
Works that can be performed, installed, or activated using minimal tech infrastructure (projection, stereo audio, basic lighting, WiFi) Click here for details on our space
Proposals that are adaptable, conceptually rigorous, and push boundaries in form or process
Artists who are open to experimentation, dialogue, and collaboration
